On the downloads page you'll find the program needed to extract the hacks from their .rar archives, it can handle a lot of other stuff too, like .zip files. In the end it's very useful, but has a nag screen saying you need to buy it...
SimPE:
This one is cool, this program allows you to change any aspect of your
Sims and even the entire game, for those of you wanting to hack, this is the program to use. Don't use it if you don't know what you are doing though, if you mess up your game can be toast!
Modthesims2:
This is where a ton of hackers for The Sims 2 hang out, you need to be a registered member to access any of the downloads, but it's free so check it out!
SnootySims:
Here you can find some cheats, custom content, a few hacks and some various tutorials. A very nice site!
MikeInside:
This guy has created some pretty good houses, you need to be a
member of his forum to download some of them, but again it's free and
definitely worth checking out. There are some really good tutorials as well.

SimLogical:
This is the site of another hacker, like myself, she does a bunch of
really neat stuff like lockable doors and a ton of other stuff. If you like what I do, she has a bunch more, she even has stuff for The Sims 1!
